It’s been a crazy week! Getting ready for PAX, getting extra sets of passes for last minute friends, planning our sleeping arrangements with my friend Emily, and of course this also happens to be the week where we have to plan for next month’s event Fantastic Fest. I can’t explain how fortunate I am to be doing what it is that I’m doing. To have PAX and Fantastic Fest so close together and having been lucky enough to go see Courtney and Thomas in Portland. It’s like nerd life over load.
So here’s what we’re looking at really… I go up Wednesday to try and spend time with Emily, get a bite to eat, set up for the festival, and maybe record something for PAX that lays out our schedule. I know that DJWheat wants to hang out since he’s doing the festival solo. It’s such a weird line up. There are bands and yeah I do want to see some of them, but with Friday night alone having Indie Game: The Movie showing AND the full length version of I Got Next starring my good friend Gootecks, it’s a little hard figuring out how we’re going to make it all work.
What I’m worried most about right now is Emily being able to pick up Matt and Bridgette from the airport Thursday morning at 10:30.. I’m pretty sure she can pick me up, but even now I just called her and now I’m not so sure because she’s not picking up her phone. It’s far too late to get a hotel… oh bother. I have no clue what I’m going to do. I still have to line up stuff for Fantastic Fest and figure out where we’re going to stay this year. I want to get a time share from Micah, but I don’t know if that’s possible because it’s so late. We’ll have to find out soon.
